The Barnyard Boo at Thanksgiving Point

The Thanksgiving Point Petting Zoo dresses up in October for the Barnyard Boo, a less-spooky Halloween activity that is perfect for preschool aged children who may be afraid of some of the other haunted attractions in the area.

What is the Barnyard Boo

The Barnyard Boo is an annual event that takes place at the Thanksgiving Point Petting Zoo. The event is currently in it's 5th year and is a wonderful fall tradition for preschoolers in or near Utah County. The petting zoo gets a festive makeover and features a variety of Halloween themed activities on select days in October. Preschoolers can get in the spirit of Halloween without being frightened by haunted attractions or spooky decorations.

Activities at the Barnyard Boo

The Barnyard Boo features a variety of exciting Halloween themed activities and games for preschoolers. Preschoolers can enjoy the same pony rides wagon rides and hay rides that are typically offered as part of the petting zoo. Games are spread throughout the petting zoo including, Boo Bowling, Ghostly Ring Toss, Haunted House Bean Bag Toss,  Swampy Fish Pond and Pin-the-Wart-on-the-Witch. Cookie Decorating is offered inside the building as well as a variety of Halloween crafts and temporary tattoos for preschoolers.

A large pumpkin patch is located inside the petting zoo. Preschoolers will enjoy picking out pumpkins of all shapes and sizes to purchase and enjoy at home. Bring your preschooler to the Barnyard Boo in their Halloween costume to add some extra fun to their visit.

Location
The Barnyard Boo takes place at Thanksgiving Point Farm Country.
Farm Country is located at Thanksgiving Point, 20 minutes south of Salt Lake City and 20 minutes north of Provo on Interstate 15 in Central Utah. To reach Thanksgiving Point, take exit 284 off Interstate 15 and travel west to Thanksgiving Way. Farm Country is located in the big red barn to the west of the Dinosaur Museum.

Cost
Admission is $5 per person
Half price for Thanksgiving Point Members

Admission to the Barnyard Boo includes a punch pass good for 5 games and/or activities

Visitors to a Halloween Central activity receive a $2 off coupon to another Halloween Central activity (Cornbelly’s, Scarecrow Festival, or Barnyard Boo).
