Outback Steakhouse in Salt Lake City

The Outback Steakhouse is a fun place for a family dinner in Salt Lake City. With 3 locations along the Wasatch Front in Orem, Sandy, and Layton, they are easily accessible to parents of preschoolers all over Salt Lake City. Visit their website for some fun games and education material for preschoolers.

Advantages of The Outback Steakhouse

The menu is appealing to preschoolers and parents. Preschoolers can choose from grilled cheese-a-roo, kookaburra chicken fingers, boomerang cheese burger, mac a roo 'n cheese, joey sirloin, grilled chicken on the barbie, or junior ribs with an optional spotted dog sundae for dessert.

They offer call ahead seating so you can avoid a long wait with hungry preschoolers.

Disadvantages of The Outback Steakhouse

Buy at Art.com

In the words of my preschooler, the wait for our food was so long that he was "going to shrivel up and die". I'd recommend getting an appetizer to satisfy the short attention span of preschoolers and the long wait time that is required to cook steak for the adult members of your party. Bring something for your preschooler to play with that will keep them occupied while they wait.

The meals can be pricey if you have a larger group.

The lights are dim, making it difficult to find stray toys under the table.
