Liberty Park
This peaceful 80 acre park is tucked away in busy Salt Lake City. With free internet access, tons of walking trails, and wonderful playground facilities, Liberty Park will become a favorite destination for Salt Lake City Preschoolers.
Rotary Play Park at Liberty Park was built for children of all abilities. The play park was built as a result of a generous donation by the Salt Lake Rotary Club as a legacy of the 2002 Paralympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City. The playground has something for preschoolers of all abilities. Traditional swings are available along with swings with a full back that are easy for preschoolers to play on.
There are several play areas for preschoolers to enjoy, including two playgrounds, a music area, a large sandbox and sand table, a play house, and much more. Preschoolers will find plenty to do at this exciting park.
Restrooms area available nearby, providing easy access for newly potty trained preschoolers.
Liberty Park can be quite crowded on nice days. Preschoolers will need to be watched carefully. They may need to wait for their turn on nice days if they want to play on the more popular play equipment.
Because of the large area that the Park covers, safety may be an issue after dark. The park closes at dusk each night and it is best to obey closing time.
