Color Me Mine is a full service paint-your-own pottery studio that offers an artistic experience for the whole family. How Does Color Me Mine Work

Color Me Mine provides all the materials that you need to create unique pottery pieces. These customized pieces make wonderful gifts for parents or grandparents or are a wonderful way for preschoolers to add their own personalized touch to decorations in the home. Color Me Mine offers a wide variety of pre-made pottery including dinnerware, holiday ornaments, and decorative household items. Preschoolers will enjoy the variety of piggy banks and fun figures such as, cars, dinosaurs, and bugs.

Preschoolers will have access to an unlimited supply of brushes and paints to complete their pottery. Color Me Mine employees are available to help instruct preschoolers and give them ideas to get them started. There are idea books and samples available to help inspire your preschoolers creativity. A large variety of pottery supplies including, tape, stamps, stick on letters, and three dimensional paint are offered at no additional cost.

Clean up is taken care of for you so you only need to focus on enjoying your visit. When you have completed your piece of pottery, Color Me Mine will glaze it for you and it will be available for pick up in three days.

Color Me Mine charges a small studio fee and charges for the cost of each individual piece of pottery that you choose. Visit the website of the location that you are planning to visit to find days when discounted studio fees are offered.

Color Me Mine for Preschoolers

Paint smocks are provided for preschoolers and will help protect their clothing. It is still a good idea for your preschooler to wear old clothing but Color Me Mine employees promise that any paint that does end up on clothing will wash out. All the paint used at Color Me Mine is non-toxic and safe for preschoolers.

Color Me Mine encourages guests to bring snacks and drinks to enjoy while they are working on their pottery. This will help preschoolers to stay focused on the experience, especially since the process of painting can take 1-2 hours as you wait for the first coats of paint to dry.

Choose a small piece for preschoolers to focus on so they do not become impatient. You do have to wait for each coat of paint to dry if you are trying to get a deeper color. Hair dryers are available to help speed the process and shorten waiting time. Color Me Mine employees are happy to help you get supplies that you need or fix mistakes as they happen.
